It comes in a well packaged box. The installation option are either recessed or surface mount. I went with the surface mount option. The installation is very easy. The bottom brace is easy to install and have the holes so it's easy to screw the brace in. The top brackets doesn't have those screw cut out and makes it a bit tough to screen in. In addition, the power cord is way too short. I wish the cord was long so I an easily plug it in. Regardless of the 2 small issues, the mirror is very good and the light is very bright.
