I put this on the side wall in a upstairs bathroom with a main wall that has a large mirror. It worked perfect for maintaining the modern mirror walled look without sacrificing cabinet space. My contractor only wanted me to put mirrors on the bathroom walls, saying a cabinet would make my house look outdated. I proved him wrong with this beauty. A must have in my opinion. they comes in a variety of sizes. This is really nice with the mirror inside too.

This is a high quality cabinet and looks great. Ours is recessed mounted, so I can't speak to how it looks surface mounted. I just ordered a second one for our other bathroom, which speaks to how much we like it.
